Tropical Depression Auring is currently causing massive rainfall in the areas of Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands and the NDRRMC had already declared an orange rainfall advisory. It means serious flooding is seen and that residents should be ready to evacuate.
To ensure the safety of our fellowmen, the 26th Infantry (Ever Onward) Battalion, 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division of the Philippine Army prepares its Disaster Response Unit (DRU) and manpower capability for any circumstances of disaster and rescue operation caused by the rising water level especially in flood prone communities.
