To further increase the general sensitivity, understanding and knowledge about gender inequality among the enlisted personnel of 4ID, the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division through the Gender and Development Office (GADO) in coordination with the Mental Health and Resilience Center, Camp Evangelista Station Hospital (CESH) has successfully conducted a 2-day training on Gender Based-Violence Resilience Intervention held at 4ID Division Clubhouse from September 19-20, 2023.
Said training focused on explaining the key definition and concepts of Psychological Support (PSS) and well-being in light of the gender-based violence, recognizing the impact of the gender-based violence on their own well-being, identifying strategies to manage their stress and identifying the PSS strategies to support personnel’s well-being and continued functioning in light of the experience.
Battalion Executive Officers, Chief Clerks of General Staff and Special Staff of 4ID attended the training wherein a Psychologist Services Section Supervisor of DOH Malaybalay city served as the speaker of the 2-day training.
In his message, Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, Commander of 4ID highlighted the significance of the training which will uphold the troops to higher standards to protect the dignity of all human beings.
