

The 4th Infantry Division (Diamond), Philippine Army, held a ceremony at Camp Evangelista, Cagayan de Oro, to honor the exceptional service of the outgoing Division Staff Judge Advocate and to celebrate the promotion of a newly appointed officer.
The event recognized Captain Elizabeth Joy M. Sadiarin, the outgoing Division Staff Judge Advocate, and marked the promotion of First Lieutenant Princess Joy A. Oyoa on November 18, 2024.
The ceremony began with the presentation of a Command Plaque to Captain Sadiarin in recognition of her outstanding service from March 16, 2022, to November 1, 2024. During her tenure, Captain Sadiarin played a key role in ensuring the legal and operational integrity of the 4th Infantry Division, helping to maintain the highest standards of justice and legal compliance in every mission. Her legal counsel and leadership contributed greatly to the Division’s success.
In her remarks, Captain Sadiarin thanked her fellow officers for their support, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and professionalism in achieving the Division’s objectives.
The ceremony also included the donning of rank to First Lieutenant Oyoa, who has served with distinction at the Camp Evangelista Station Hospital. Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, Commander of the 4th Infantry Division, pinned the new rank on Lieutenant Oyoa, recognizing her dedication and excellence.
In a statement, Major General Cuerpo expressed his gratitude for Captain Sadiarin’s contributions, highlighting her role in ensuring legal compliance and operational success. He also congratulated First Lieutenant Oyoa for her promotion, praising her commitment and readiness for greater responsibilities within the Division.
