1,161 Youth Aspirants Complete PMAEE in 4ID AOR

A total of 1, 161 youth aspirants completed the Philippine Military Entrance Examination (PMAEE) simultaneously conducted in three exam centers within the 4ID area of responsibility on September 9 – 10, 2023.

A total of 546 applicants took the exam at the Montalvan Hall, Headquarters 4ID, Camp Evangelista, Brgy. Patag, Cagayan de Oro City; 480 applicants took the exam at Lope Asis Memorial Gym, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur; and 135 applicants took the exam in Surigao del Norte Provincial Convention Center, Surigao City.

Proctor Teams from the Office of the Cadet Recruitment and Admission, Philippine Military Academy (PMA), Fort General Gregorio H Del Pilar, Baguio City, facilitated the examination, which is the first stage in applying for PMA. The exam is conducted yearly to select the best and the brightest among the Filipino youths who accept the challenge of becoming military leaders who will serve the nation and the Filipino people.

The PMA Entrance Examination measures the applicants’ mental ability in Algebra and Geometry, Grammar and Composition, Reading and Comprehension, Verbal and Numerical Reasoning, and Pattern Analysis. Successful applicants will then proceed to the next screening stage to become PMA cadets and undergo a four (4) year rigid military training inside the country’s premier military institution in Baguio City.
