In celebration of the 88th Founding Anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division joined in the simultaneous Interfaith Prayer Service and Flag Raising Ceremony held at 4ID Headquarters in Camp Evangelista, Brgy. Patag, Cagayan de Oro City on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
The activities, led by Col. Ted B. Dumosmog, the 4ID Assistant Division Commander for Reservist and Retiree Affairs together with other 4ID officers, Enlisted Personnel and the Civilian Human Resource, reflected the Division’s commitment to unity, peace and solidarity.
During the Flag Raising Ceremony, Col. Dumosmog read the message of AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr which highlighted the organization’s 88 years of unwavering service and dedication to the Filipino people.
“Today’s simultaneous flag-raising ceremony is more than just a tradition; it symbolizes our commitment to safeguard and uphold our nation and people. Thus, let us remember as we unfurl the flag of our people’s strength, resilience, and unity, which carry the weight of our history – the sacrifices of those who came before us and the hopes of future generations,” the CSAFP said.
