4ID Strengthens Commitment to Regional Security and Development in RDC-X Full Council and Advisory Committee Meeting 2025

The 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division, led by Brigadier General Michele B. Anayron Jr., reinforced its commitment to regional security and development as a key partner in promoting regional growth. This was evident during its active participation in the Joint Regional Development Council-X (RDC-X) Full Council and Advisory Committee (AdCom) Meeting, held on February 6, 2025, at the Chali Resort and Conference Center in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.

The meeting was led by Hon. Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo, the Chairperson of the Regional Development Council (RDC-X) and Governor of Lanao del Norte. She was joined by Hon. Rufus B. Rodriguez, Chairman of the RDC AdCom and Representative of the 2nd District of Cagayan de Oro, as well as Vice-Chairperson Regional Director Mylah Faye Aurora B. Cariño from the National Economic and Development Authority Region 10 (NEDA-10). Also in attendance were Hon. Peter M. Unabia, Governor of Misamis Oriental; Hon. Christian Unabia, Representative of the 1st District of Misamis Oriental; local chief executives; heads and representatives from various national government agencies in Region 10; and members from the business, education, and social sectors.

The meeting aimed to discuss updates on regional development, address challenges, prioritize potential programs and projects, and review budget proposals to ensure a comprehensive approach to economic and social progress, driving the continuous growth of Northern Mindanao.

4ID’s involvement emphasized its role in enhancing security, promoting development, addressing peace and order issues, and collaborating with stakeholders on infrastructure projects, disaster response, and community-building efforts.

During the meeting, the 4ID Commander and key officers provided important insights into 4ID’s efforts supporting government programs by creating a stable environment that fosters investment, generates livelihood opportunities, and promotes sustainable growth, particularly in communities affected by conflict.

In a statement, BGen Anayron underscored 4ID’s resolve and commitment to creating peaceful and stable communities emphasizing collaboration with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure a secure environment where regional development efforts can thrive.
