The troops from the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division demonstrated their strong commitment to public service and community welfare by participating in GMA Regional TV’s Kapuso Bloodletting Activity at Centrio, Ayala Mall, in Cagayan de Oro City on February 7, 2025.
In collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross, the event aimed to meet the increasing demand for blood, particularly for patients in critical need, such as those seriously ill, accident victims, and patients requiring surgery.
Ten soldiers from 4ID successfully donated blood, demonstrating their commitment, compassion, and social responsibility. 4ID recognizes the vital role they play in ensuring a stable and sufficient blood supply for hospitals and medical facilities.
Brigadier General Michele B. Anayron Jr., the Commander of the 4th Infantry Division, expressed his appreciation and full support for GMA Regional TV’s advocacy, which promotes unity and addresses healthcare challenges continuously.
4ID’s involvement in blood donation activities aligns with the Philippine Army’s initiative to raise awareness among citizens and military personnel about the importance of donating blood, ultimately contributing to a healthier community.
