“For the past 89 years, the history of the AFP has been marked by stories of victory and loss, trials and triumphs. Through it all, we have endured, conquered, and won the peace. With this, I enjoined the men and women of the AFP—every soldier, airman, sailor, and marine—to walk in the footsteps of all who have come before us, always ready to give our best in the service of our nation and our people,” General Brawner stated.

Meanwhile, 4ID Commander Major General Jose Maria R Cuerpo II said that  the ceremony stood as a tribute to the bravery, dedication, and selflessness of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend the nation and laid the foundation of a strong and resilient organization today. With the unceasing trust of the Filipino people, he assured that the organization will continue to honor this through discipline, professionalism, and selfless service. “The trust bestowed upon us by the Filipino people is a responsibility we hold with great honor, and we pledge to continue safeguarding that trust through discipline, professionalism, and selfless service,” he said.
