The Regional Director of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Regional Office 10, Director Ariel B. Abragan, paid a courtesy call on 4ID Commander Major General Michele B. Anayron Jr. at the Headquarters, 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City, on March 25, 2025.
The visit underscored the close collaboration between DHSUD and 4ID, who are both members of the Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (TF-ELCAC), emphasizing their unwavering commitment to working hand-in-hand to achieve lasting peace and sustainable development in the region.
During the courtesy call, Dir. Abragan and MGen Anayron engaged in a productive discussion on the ongoing and planned housing projects which aim to create a foundation for lasting peace and improved quality of life for communities across the region.
In a statement, the 4ID Commander conveyed his appreciation to DHSUD and expressed the division’s full support for the department’s initiatives, highlighting the critical role of addressing the root causes of insurgency through comprehensive development programs, particularly by providing housing and livelihood opportunities to vulnerable communities.
