4ID Holds Blessing for Newly Acquired Vehicles, Strengthen Operational Readiness

With a clear focus on mission readiness and service to the people, the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division conducted a Blessing Ceremony for its newly acquired vehicles during the Monday flag-raising ceremony on May 26, 2025, held in front of the Administrative Building, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City.

4ID Commander Major General Michele B. Anayron Jr. graced the said activity along with senior officers of the Command. The blessing was led by 4ID Catholic Chaplain, Lt. Col. Domingo L Labrilla, who offered prayers for the protection of personnel and the successful deployment of the vehicles in fulfilling the unit’s mandate.

The event served as a spiritual invocation for protection and a public affirmation of the Division’s commitment to enhancing its mobility, responsiveness, and operational capability in fulfilling its duties to the nation.

The newly acquired vehicles are expected to play a vital role in the Division’s day-to-day operations. It will significantly boost mobility and logistical support during internal security operations, disaster response, humanitarian assistance missions, and other community engagements. This addition to the Division’s mobility assets not only strengthens operational readiness but also ensures faster, safer, and more efficient service to communities.

In a statement, the 4ID Commander highlighted the vehicle’s critical role in enhancing the unit’s mobility and enabling it to carry out a wide range of missions more efficiently, including troop movement, logistics support, quick-reaction deployments, and community outreach operations.
