4ID Honors Retiring Officer and Civilian Human Resources for Decades of Dedicated Service

The 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division held a retirement ceremony to honor the faithful and dedicated service of a retiring Military Officer and three Civilian Human Resources on December 10, 2024, at 4ID Mess Hall, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City. 

Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, the Commander of the 4th Infantry Division, served as the keynote speaker at the ceremony. He was joined by key officers, military personnel, civilian human resources staff from the Command, as well as family members, relatives, friends, and colleagues of the honoree.

During the ceremony, MGen Cuerpo presented the Plaque of Honorable Service to the retiring officer, 4ID Muslim Chaplain Lt. Col. Adzramien T. Sahisa, in recognition of his 21 years and eight months of faithful and dedicated service. Additionally, three retiring civilian human resources personnel were awarded the same plaque: – Ms. Mildred Y. Banag, Chief of Civilian Human Resources for 4ID, who served for 37 years and four months – Ms. Cordelia S. Dominguez, Midwife I, who dedicated 34 years and seven months to her role – Ms. Elisa R. Cabugnason, Nurse III, who served for 37 years and ten months.

In his keynote speech, MGen Cuerpo expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the retirees for their invaluable service and significant contributions to the 4ID’s peace campaign, as well as the overall success of the organization. He also wished them well as they embarked on the next chapters of their lives.

“I am truly happy to have worked with all of you. Many of you I have worked with for a long time, and it has been an honor to serve as your division commander,” the 4ID Commander stated.
