A Celebration of Love and Service: 403rd Brigade Conducts Military Mass Wedding

CAMP OSITO D BAHIAN, Malaybalay City. The 403rd Infantry Brigade, known for its commitment to service and camaraderie, hosted a memorable military mass wedding ceremony on December 10, 2024 at St Ignatius de Loyola Chapel, Camp Osito Bahian, Brgy 10, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon bringing together love, unity, and commitment. This event was not just a celebration of matrimony but a testament to the Brigade’s dedication in supporting its personnel and their families.

There were 12 couples who participated in the special ceremony, many of whom had long awaited the opportunity to formalize their unions amidst the challenges of military service. The grooms and brides, some of whom had been together for years, shared stories of enduring love and the sacrifices made as they balanced personal lives with the demands of the call of duty as a soldier.

During the wedding, the officiating priest gave an inspiring message about love, duty, and the role of families in strengthening the backbone of the Philippine Army. As rings were exchanged, the atmosphere was filled with applause, cheers, and occasional tears of joy from families and fellow soldiers who witnessed the momentous occasion.

After the wedding, the reception program began with a heartfelt message from Brigadier General Michele B Anayron Jr, Commander 403Bde, who emphasized the importance of strong family ties in fostering resilience and motivation among military personnel. This was followed by a solemn exchange of message from each of the couple, symbolizing not just the union of two individuals but also their commitment to supporting one another through the rigors of military life.
