The Philippine Army Command Sergeant Major, Chief Master Sergeant (CMS) Marvin M Jurane visited the headquarters of the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division at Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City, on February 25, 2025.
CMS Jurane was accorded traditional military honors and was welcomed by the Division’s senior NCOs led by Senior Master Sergeant Rey A. Viña, the Division Sergeant Major, 4ID and subsequently paid a courtesy call to 4ID Commander Brigadier General Michele B. Anayron Jr.
The said visit is part of CMS’s duty and responsibility to check the morale and welfare of troops and to discuss the guidance and strategic thrust of the Commanding General of the Philippine Army, Lt. Gen. Roy M Galido.
During his talk to troops, CMS Jurane reinforced Lt. Gen. Galido’s guidance under the acronym A.R.M.Y. and reminded the troops to uphold the core principle of the Philippine Army. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, and service, underscoring their role in mission success and operational excellence.
Further, the Army Sergeant Major conveyed his gratitude to the men and women of the Division for their unwavering dedication, sacrifices, and commitment to uphold the highest standards of duty as enlisted personnel of the Command, contributing significantly to the attainment of its mission accomplishments.
